Uhmmmm, somehow i just feel the slogan of "be urself" is a common bullshit :p
The thing is u'll never be urself when u have entered the social life. this's the fact.
We're living with other people and that means we're dealing with some different objectives. I keep this in mind when i communicate some tasks that need to be accomplished with positive reinforcement and awareness of what others r working on.
See.. The thing is, human was born with the ego.
Yeah, for having an ego is not always bad anyway. Lo cukup mentingin kepentingan diri sendiri, done. Nah itu lah yang gue maksud dengan "a common bullshit" :p
This could be happened to a couple:
W : Baby, do u really love me?
M : Yes, I do. Don't u know that i can be mad if i'm losing u..
W : Uhmmmm.. Are u sure that u can accept me for what i am?
M : Baby, there's no doubt for that..
W : Oh.. Thank u, baby.. *the woman hug her man and by that time, she feels that she's the greatest woman by having him as her man*
Let's order some food.. i've been starving anyway.. ohh, let me think, i want to order 1 fried chicken with rice, corn soup, milkshake and ice cream...
huaahh, great!
M : Baby, jeez! look at ur body, how come u will have a farewell party with ur fat if u order so many things for the dinner?!
W : Sh*t! u just said that u'll accept me for what i am! And now u're giving me some shit just because i ordered those things.
Suddenly, i'm losing my appetite! I'm leaving!

Well, actually, up to now i still don't get the point why man always keep concern in physically matter than her character.. Padahal, tetep juga kan klo tuh cewe cantik ya jadinya sombong lah dan ga ketutup kemungkinan juga punya banyak pacar. Well, that's a man.. Hehe..

U must be have some of idealism, prinsip hidup and so on. But when u have entered the office and dealing with ur bosses..

1. Bosses are always right and
2. When they make a mistake please avoid it and always keep in mind the 1st point.
